Customer's Choice

A few of those on our fall calendar include:

  • ALS –  On September 9th, 2008 we hosted a very successful event  to promote the ALS Association in the fight to eradicate ALS also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.  We had more than 40 guests in attendance and we were so pleased with the turnout and the donation that we were able to give to the ALS Association. We would also like to thank Mix 107.9 for their support with this event.

THE SISTER TO SISTER FOUNDATION

  • The Sister to Sister foundation is a national 501 c 3 and was founded by Irene Pollin to prevent heart disease among women by:
    • Offering women free cardiac screening to promote early detection and treatment of heart disease.
    • Increasing awareness that heart disease is the number #1 killer of women in the U.S.today.
    • Educating women that making healthy lifestyle changes can reduce their risk of heart disease.
  • Because 1 in 4 women in the U.S. dies of heart disease.
  • We will be hosting and sponsoring our Second Annual Sister to Sister Party and Benefit in February in the store to promote Women’s Cardiac Health.
