Domestic Violence

• Approximately 1.3 million are physically assaulted by an intimate partner annually in the United States
• Intimate partner violence made up 20% of all nonfatal violent crime experienced by women in 2001
• In 2000, 1.247 women were killed by an intimate partner. In recent years , an intimate partner killed approximately 33% of female murder victims.
• The numbers are too high and we can help women in shelters get back on their feet.

StretchAlicious will host and promote self defense programs and events for the education and protection for women.

StretcAlicious will also organize programs for the collection of gently used “work out and athletic wear” year-round allowing us to contribute those articles of women’s clothing to local women’s shelters and homes. It is our hope and prayer to help women begin to get back on their feet, and on the road to better physical and mental health and independence.
