StretchAlicious Women's Activewear Retail Franchise

We are “five women....into style, fitness, fashion and comfort.”
 

We came together through both old and new friendships that blossomed as we trained with one another in the gym, and as we worked tirelessly on various projects in our community.
 

As passionate exercise enthusiasts and busy women, we continually searched for clothing that would be both fashionable and functional on all levels.   In 2007, we fell upon a line called Margarita that suited all needs of comfort, function, and fashion.  We knew we had to share Margarita with the public, hence the Stretchalicious corporation was born in February of 2007.  The Stretchalicious motto, "From the gym to the streets", described it all and launched the opportunity we are sharing with you today.
 

Since then we have been selling our clothes through various retail channels and in August of 2007 we started “wholesaling” our products to other stores nationally and internationally quickly becoming one of the largest distributor of Margarita clothing.
 

This combination of robust retail and wholesale sales allowed us to take the next step and open our flagship store in April 2008 in Rockville, Maryland.  We  had overwhelming response in our first retail boutique and were very excited about the opportunities to expand our reach and “brand” through the addition of franchise locations.  In February 2009 we opened our headquarters Franchise model store in Potomac, Maryland and have never looked back. Our concept truly is a “one of a kind” store, offering more than 35 unique and fashionable brands of active wear, street-wear and the latest fashion  accessories . At StretchAlicious, there is something to fit everyBODY and something for everyone.
 

In June of 2008, we launced our Franchise Operation and began offering womens retail franchise boutiques to the  public. We are thrilled to have opened our first two franchise locations in Puerto Rico and Ellicott City, Maryland. We anticipate opening an additional 6-8 locations in 2010 and expect growth of our stores to continue at a rapid pace.
 

The Five Daisies of Stretchalicious are so much more than just our great clothing. We are five dynamic women who are socially conscience and committed to making a difference.  We are mothers, wives, sisters and daughters. We are entrepreneurs, group fitness instructors, personal trainers, administrative and operations specialists.  We are also a breast cancer survivor and moms of sons on the autism spectrum. We are children of parents afflicted with Alzheimer’s   and  we are women concerned about women’s health and the environment. Many of our franchisees share these same passions and provide a constant and renewed energy and focus on the importance and significance of this mission.
 

As a corporation, we have selected to support five major causes on a national level, and to allow Franchise’s to select causes that are also important to them.  Hence our second motto, “StrethAlicious, Fighting Causes one Petal at a time”. The five causes that we will support nationally are breast cancer, autism, alzheimer’s, domestic violence against women and the environment.  We will leave the 6th petal of our logo half daisy, uncommitted to allow us to “Pick a Petal” or cause in our community as the need arises. We encourage franchises to do the same based on their own personal passion and community involvement.
 

As one example of our involvement, we have taken our favorite signature "Daisy" pant and color coordinated them to go with the disease or cause we are fighting. Our blue daisy is the representative pant for our fight against Autism and is now the official Autism pant available for purchase in our store and on the National Autism Speaks website, www.Autismspeaks.org.  The pink Daisy Pant was featured in Oxygen Magazine and is our representative breast cancer pant, with proceeds being donated to the Dr. Susan  Love Foundation for breast cancer research as well as to other Breast cancer research organizations.
