StretchAlicious – “Fighting Causes One Petal At a Time”

We are five dynamic women who are committed to operating and growing a socially conscious and exciting business. As a result we have committed ourselves to those issues that affect our daily lives and the lives of our families, friends and customers. We feel inspired that people love our clothes and take great comfort in knowing that through their purchase, we can help give back to those causes that are near and dear to us.

As a corporation, we have selected to support five major causes on a national level, and to allow franchise’s to select causes that are equally important to them. Hence our second motto, StretchAlicious, Fighting Causes One Petal at a Time”.

The five causes we will support on a national level are:

1. Breast Cancer Research -  StretcAlicious will work throughout the year through our own efforts and through partnerships with the Dr. Susan B. Love Research Foundation, and through the Maryland charitable organization for breast cancer research, “Work Out for the Cure”. Our specific events for Breast Cancer research and awareness are in October and February.
    
2. Autism – We will work tirelessly throughout the year through our nationwide partnership with Autism Speaks, by participating in walks, runs, triathlons, and through shopping and promotional events such as “Eat, Shop, Give” and other store related parties and cause related shopping days. Our specific events for Autism are in March, April, July and November.
    
3. Alzheimer’s – We will support the cause of Alzheimer’s through cause related marketing and promotional shopping events to support the National Alzheimer’s Association.
    
4. Domestic Violence – We will work throughout the year with various organizations to support women’s health and safety issues. Our events for Domestic Violence are in September.
    
5. The Environment – We will work together with our community year round to promote eco-friendly initiatives and to produce eco-friendly garments. We want to keep all of the petals on our logo flower healthy and growing.
    
6. Customer's Choice - Our sixth petal is to support additional causes and charities that are equally important to our customers and our franchisees.  
    

Our Signature Daisy Pant

As one example of our involvement, we have taken our favorite signature "Daisy" pant and color coordinated them to go with the disease or cause we are fighting.

• Our blue daisy is the representative pant for our fight against Autism and is now the official Autism pant available for purchase in our store and on the National Autism Speaks website, www.Autismspeaks.org. 
• The pink daisy pant was featured in Oxygen Magazine and is our representative breast cancer pant, with proceeds being donated to the Dr. Susan Love Foundation for breast cancer research. 
• The red daisy pant stands for both Domestic Violence and for ALS, also known as Lou Gherig's disease. 
• Our purple daisy pant will allow us to support the Alzheimer's Association.

StretchAlicious will continue “to fight causes, one petal at a time,” by donating 10% of  proceeds from the sale of our clothing and from these important events year-round.
